I'm a longtime fan of Le Creuset enameled cast-iron cookware, so I used to be excited to purchase this first stoneware piece. While it is very horny, the primary time I cooked with it (in a 400 degree oven) it cracked in half of. I've cooked with different types of stoneware at four hundred stages and higher for 12 monthss and not using a problems, including stoneware at a lower price level, so this used to be an important shock. But I learn (now) in different assessments of Le Creuset stoneware that it is a somewhat well-liked drawback, and that the guarantee requires transport it again for inspection. To my mind this is extra bother than it is worth - I'm just sorry I relied on the emblem identify and didn't do my normal research prior to purchasing.

I actually have this one in the blue color and used it about thrice in the oven. The 2d time it bought a hairline crack and now I baked fish in it at 350 and there's a blacker hairline crack. Of course I'm afraid it'll crack in 1 of 2 the next time I use it.

I concept I was getting a greater high quality for the associated fee on account that I was frightened of the Pyrex which had unhealthy overviews. But I won't purchase this model once more.

This the perfect stoneware you can use. No matter how tousled it gets in the baking process it easys up like new!!! Have had as a minimum 20 items as a minimum 10 yrs and have by no means had an issue.
